When you’re looking for things to do in Tulsa, one of the top places on your list will be Steve’s Books & Magazines. Steve’s is located off of Broken Arrow Expressway’s Harvard exit in mid-town Tulsa. With a 60 year history, they have been considered the oldest independent bookstore in Tulsa for a long time. Steve’s carries more than 50,000 book titles and offers the largest magazine selection in Tulsa.
Another excellent independent book store in Tulsa is The Book Place. They are located in Broken Arrow on New Orleans Ave at the corner of 101st and Elm. The Book Place offers a combination of new and used books, with 15% off most new titles. They pack over 100,000 titles into a 4,000 square foot space. There are several deals for local customers including audio book rentals, book holds, and pulled inventory ready at the counter when you come to the store.
